Hey SnoopMaxx, have you ever thought about a brushless setup in your WK? I was thinking about going in a similar direction with my WK as you did. But I was thinking more of a jeepspeed look. Keep the solid axles and 4wd, extend the wb, get bigger tires and a fast motor. I'm sure with a brushless setup you could fly up the hills. You would probably want a low kv motor so you wouldnt be outta control all the time, but with the extended wb it should be easier to control. Plus driving in sand helps a lot to keep the wheely's down as it allows the wheels to slip more... make any sense? What do you guys think?

Aww man, thats a bummer... Hey I was looking at the Mamba Sidewinder motors, either the 4600 or the 5700, those should give me a decent amount of power for flying through sand and up dunes right? |

| You can use any 4x4 buggy or truggy with paddle tires I use a īPede tranny with a locked diff You can also use a spool like Cyberdog did The īPede chassis may not work īcos you need 4wd to get to the top of those hills A few Vids of R/C Foff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gGei...e=channel_page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myfGE...eature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgbMx...eature=channel Finland Foff vids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDhRchKqdtI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNrvzwnEyec http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC4siP6VpQ0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3mnx9MMgls This is Cyberdog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXUbINI8f3M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojAFpmfKigY And 1:1 Foff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vXA3Jbz5Dk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENEuNkulwCU This is just some of the cars I have seen used in Formula Off-Road 2.2 class AX-10 Wheely King Tamiya CR-01 HBX Bonzer Unlimited class 1/8 Truggy E-Maxx E-Revo E-Savage |

couldnt wait i put the stock wheels & tires on, took it out on the road and amazing. never thought when i bought that little truck that i would ever see it move like that!!!! quick ? it was clickin real bad if i got on it to hard 2 rast. i think its the diffs. b4 i locked them it clicked with the 17 t. when i locked the diffs i put them back opposite front in back. u get it. but the clicking stopped after that until now. so diffs or tranny educated guess? | No need to guess It is the twin idler gear in the tranny I is assembled with a spring and acts like a slipper You have a few options to solve it 1: steel gears from RC4WD or CKRC I made my own gears 2: lock the idler gears together so they wont slip 3: replace the plastic gears every week I now use a īPede VXL tranny it has steel gears as stock Ooh and this is my WK with Jug2 axles I replaced nearly all of the parts on my WK and then reassembled it again LOL |

damn ur tranny looks bullet proof!! i hope mine holds up because that side winder is evil. any new videos coming from u ? oh yeah i read somewhere that its good to leave the spur gear stock plastic so that it is the weakest point of the drivetrain, and you would want that to break b4 anything else because they r cheap and its a quick fix. true or false ?
