Default Rata's R1

i orderd this weekend my mean machine
the G Made R1 Rock Buggy

and a few hop ups
2 x Adjustable Aluminum Link Mount
1 x R1 Heavy duty front steering rods
1 x Aluminum Straight axle adapter
1 x R1 High Clearance Link
2 x Adjustable Upper Link Mount
1 x One Piece Knuckle Arm
1 x Aluminum C-Hub Carrier
1 x R1 Shock Brace
1 x Skid Plate
1 x Hardened Universal Shaft
2 x Tube Axle Guard
and 1 extra body panel

i'm going to use a savox sc 1251MG servo
about the motor and esc i will test my ezrun 32T set first
and my other set its the Flux motiv i hope it can be fixed




so i can drive the motiv esc and my 1200 kv motor

thats it for now
waiting takes so long pffffff

for the moment my r1 is handed over to Customs

with a Customs retention reason : Invoice missing

LOL ...had some issue with customs myself as well

...myself had to pay a lumpy duty sum

i mailed junfac and no reply

what do I do now ?

its the first time i orderd something over the internet

...i guess you need to deal with customs. I had to present the invoice to clear the item from customs.

i turned the batterytray upside down


after this pics i was thinking " whats wrong with this pic ? "

i placed my motor and gearbox wrong


also the high clearance links where wrong mounted
buth thats oke now

wath do you think guys
do i need to turn my gearbox or can i leave it like it is

hi rata .... if you do decide to put a dig unit ..... then you need to mount the tranny the other way around .....

so i can drive my R1 with this setup ?

has it no effect on the crawl itself associated with weight ?

a friend told me that the motor on a crawler always must point forwards
all heavy parts needed in the front he says

thats wy i ask this questions

well your friend is no so bright if a motor must always point forward on a crawler, he ever look at a berg or bully rig? the motors are sideways!

but he is right about keep the heavy stuff in front and also keep it as low as possible, helps it climb better

just added some weigths ( in front ) and drilled a few holes in the wheels

i turned my motor and changed from 1200 kv to 3000 kv

this weekend i'm going for my first testride
