| Chino63's R1
Well, can't remember if I already started a thread for my R1 but couldn't find it. Anyhow, it's been through several changes one of which was a FOR with paddles all around and Velineon power. Now it's off and running as a KOH style rig. 12.5" WB 13.5 Novak sensored brushless Dark Soul 1.9's with polished MSD rings RC4WD cut 4.7 Boggers RC4WD 110 dual rate shocks modified pistons and Tamiya Damper o-rings Custom 3-link front and rear Custom extended rear cage area Tekin RS ESC 3s lipo 3 Racing winch with custom switch Modded TLT CVD's 2.75" clearance under chassis All the electronics are in a custom box under the hood (ESC, receiver, BEC) except the winch switch. On to the pics: Here's what it'd look like with a spare on it. TLT CVD's: All you need to do is cut them 19mm from the shoulder and grind the flat with your Dremel. Under the hood. and one last one with Wild Willy's fat head just for fun! |

Can you post a pic of your wheels at full lock? I assume the cvds gave you better turning?

| I was going to ask if you had a thread, even did a search after you posted in my thread What is the pumkin clearance with those tires? Oh, and I love the under hood shot, but you left some room in the top left corner Last edited by axlline; 12-13-2010 at 09:34 PM. |

Very nice, lookin great Hope you can make the last event of the scaler series for this season, were going to do a 2 day camping trip with the first day doing the final event of the series and then giving trophies out and then trail time. The second day we'll have a TTC for bragging rights lol. Its not going to be for another 4-5 months but it's going to be a blast. Come out to one of the scale event's Dean, the next one is at red hills just above oakdale January 2, check the rock hard scaler series for info.

I got some extremely bright flat mount LED's from a guy at work the other day. These will run on 12v and are the absolute brightest LED's I know of. I brazed up a light bar housing and sealed it all together with shoe goo and a lexan lense. |
