Got the rig back from angryone. Clay really made this cage into what I had envisioned. It was all him on the sliders and bumpers.

Rear steer, body work and electronics to come.

Last couple pictures are with 2.2 Sedona's and 2.2 Khaos (Class 3 legal right now ?? ! ! ! )

Get to work son. I'm ready to see this thing in action. Those axles got crazy diff clearance. Think I might have to get a set for my buggy build. How much wider than an axial are they?

Umm, those are boggers.
What do you think about those Khaos? Pretty sure they are Class 3 legal.

Me too. I was planning on Scalapalooza this Saturday but it's not in the cards. Work responsibilites are stacking up and no way I could finish this beast in two evenings.
I think I am sitting at 11" wide with berg offset wheels right now. I'll have to double check.

Clay had been sending me pics of this thing as he was building it and I had to keep quiet. I'm so glad you have it now Shane, because it turned out great! I'm looking forward to seeing is completed.

Sneaky. I'll see if I can get some 6x6 pictures before you!

Searched wal-mart last night for an hour looking for the right box to this but didn't find anything. So I made one out of styrene. Bent a thin piece of aluminum into an "L" to support it underneath. Fills in some of the gap up by the head lights. Still need to make the lid. If it doesn't look square, it's probably not.
Added some lexan fenders from a cut up Recaro seat package.

Should hold the Holmes Hobbies BR-XL, Castle BEC, Receiver and wireless winch controller.

Default Rear steer

REAR STEER: Using RCP Crawler TLT CVD parts.

Servo and linkage are mock up for now.
Ground down the link bracket to sit the servo a down a little further.
Probably will raise up the steering linkage to get back some of the ground clearance from the current mock setup.
Sitting about 8lbs right now. Still need to add a little more styrene work on the rear fenders and sure up the mounts for the body to the frame.
I had to drill out the rear C's for them to fit some shoulder bolts I had. I didn't have any G-Made one's. Had to drill out to just under 6mm sized hole.
Still thinking of lowering the body a little more. I can still go about 1/4-1/2" or so.
Couple poser shots. First time on the rocks!

That's looking really good. I'm not a Jeep guy and this makes 3 that I've done and want the 2 that aren't in my possession back. Maybe I am a closet Jeep guy. Haha

I am not really a jeep guy either. Although I have owned a 79' CJ5, 81' CJ5 and a 94" YJ.
I just really like the stretched look of this JK.

I have some other wheels and 2.2 Pitbull's coming for this too.

I hope mine is one of them, sadly I don't think it is. You are probably referring to this jeep and your dad's. I'll trade you my jeep for the Chevy your building.

It doesn't look that bad with the Pitbulls. They just don't look that scale due to the lug spacing.

Y'all sure your not related. Y'all crack me up. Hope you stick with the Bogger. They will def move more real estate and great for trail running. I've got one of these bodies on the way for another build, wonder who will be done first?

Might be you. I have been out on wildfires everday for the past month. Been getting home real late. Out til midnight a few nights ago and the night before that it was 4am. Got home at 8:15pm last night.

I'll stick with the boggers. Just keeping the PitBulls around plus I like the CR-01 wheels. With some barrel head 2mm screw it will make em pop.

I am almost there. Electronics are in. Just need to do some minor body work, paint, finish the electronics and get a better steering link for the rear.
