I only mounted up two boggers on two TSS real quick last night. I was thinking taking two pitbulls off the CR-01 wheels and mounting them on the skinner TSS's. Might make em grow too much though. Both sets of these wheels have tiny screws.

I need an intern for my wheel tire mounting chores.

ok I've made up my mind. When you send me the Jeep I want it like this.

We do need to do something about those bronze nipples...

It's getting there. Still messing with the correct droop setup.
Right now, I took the shock shafts from Losi 4" shocks and put them in the SCX shock bodies. Makes em taller but not too tall for right height. I am getting more flex but no cushion. I am running some small pen springs in the shocks but if they are too long, they limit the down travel. No way, I could run sprung setup, it would be set up too tall. And no room with this body and funky shock mount setup. Wraith axles might be the ticket, not sure.

The bronze bushings are just spacers until I lop off the longer TLT CVD shafts.

Thanks. It's trying to come along. Still liking how it's turning out. Literally. The 4WS is awesome. It was a breeze setting it up on my 4PKS. Even a cheesy HiTec 645MG is holding up to rear steer duties but gets wicked hot. I'll upgrade in the future.

Just been busy with work these days. Kinda slowing down now. Not to mention I am re-working my comp 2.2 rig for Nationals and making a 2WD trophy truck 4WD.

Ready to see this thing done and on some rocks. You decide on a color for the body?

It's been on the rocks. When I modded the TLT cvd's. I got a little sloppy grinding the flat spots. So when I stop the JK keeps moving 1-2 inches. Just all the play in the drivetrain. And couple that with the mega bouncy tires. But 4WS is really cool. Getting that all straight in your head while driving is fun. Gives my brain some mental stimulation for the day.

I still need to finish up the floor. No body color decided yet. Maybe dark/glossy blue.

Just got my new controller for the Wraith and got it setup with 4ws. Just playing with the servos on the table, going through the different functions was cool. Can't wait to be able to put it to use.

What about using XR10 bent rod ends so you can mount the links to outside of the mounts and mount the shocks to inside mount where the lower links mounted to ? I think that would lower it, allowing you run sprung setup.

Not sure. The GCM chassis is a bit wider than the SCX chassis. GCM is 88mm SCX is 70mm. It really screws with your shock mounting options.
A custom shock mount, that lowers the shock mount position but still keeps your lowers in the right position, is needed with this GCM chassis and R1 axles. I just don't have time to work on it. I have tried mounting the R1 shock/link mounts upside down but won't work either. The wide-ness of the GCM is the limiting factor, I believe.
The Losi 90mm shock shafts are helping up front now. I will do the rear's soon.

I am working on the drop floor right now.

Is there any reason you need a wide chassis ? Could you narrow the cross members and skid up ?

The front motor mount setup is the reason.

One side of drop floor done. It's ruff right now but will clean up. All the epoxy goop'ed everywhere make it look like a mess.
I'll add some detail work to the sides of the seats too.

I know there is no leg room in the back seat!

Looking good Shane. I started work on this other JK but I don't want to show you the pinch job.

Thanks. It's pretty rough right now. I still have to do the driver side too. I'll start it tomorrow morning. Just letting the epoxy set right now on this side.

What JK you talking about?

The one I'm gonna finish before this one. Haha. Just messin. Customer build, full turn key job. Build thread will be up tomorrow evening hopefully. Pinched it an inch to match the front. Looks factory.

Finished up the interior. It's still rough.

Lots of epoxy and patience with the drop floor. It's not perfect but works for me. I blasted it with some black but will probably do some other detail work on it with touch up colors. Just tired of looking at the different colors while working on it.
Battery will mount on back side of dash.

Next up: Detail interior work (paint and dremel work), Rear inner fenders and body work/painting. I have removed most of the old latex paint and it's down to the original mud scheme. I have sanded on it some.
