Default Steering Binding

I just started to put the front end together. When I move the steering knuckle back and forth I get significant binding. I found out that the cause was due to the front portal gear shaft. I tried the shaft in both wheel axle cups and both had binding issues. The other shaft works fine. Has anyone run into this problem. I just ordered some replacement shafts form RPP Hobby. Hope this solves the issue. Kinda sucks have issues before I even drive it.

I have had the same problem.
It has been solved by filing lightly the slits of the wheel axle.
No CVDs for the R1 at the moment.

I thought that it was the cup but when i fitted the other shaft it works perfect, so in my case I think it might be the portal shaft. I just ordered a new set of shafts.
