badgravity's buggies ... Since i like driving safaries with my gf. and my clod based stick crawler's were morally outdated. Because we like look of scale trucks but prefere the good driveability ( excluding anything axial ) We decided to get two complete R1's with some goodies and with some detailing start from there. I usually dont build according to specs ... so some first small modifications were made to both of them: new lower battery trays, winch, interrior, electronic under hood and some chassis mod's. First safari 2010 ( more pics here ) http://rc.bg.ee/pics/Yritused/56_august10/IMGP8189.JPG then i somehow year later decided that the stock form has outlived it's life ... and i dont drive stock ... so i made new frame for my crawler leaving all other parts mostly same ( shocks, links, gearbox etc. ) And what could be cooler than Tim Cameron's former "Fat Girl" ? http://rc.bg.ee/pics/Crawlerid/FatGirl/IMGP0778.JPG But it didnt go well with my gf. .... so i had to make her buggy as cool as mine. So after some web searching she decided that Doc Nazir's Blower Buggy would be perfect .... so on with the same recepie ... leave all stock and build just the frame: http://rc.bg.ee/pics/Crawlerid/BB/1.JPG And here's the first safari 2011: ( more pics here ) http://rc.bg.ee/pics/Yritused/62_18juuni11/IMGP8424.JPG Buggies specs are: Gmade R1 Gmade bent links Gmade beefy tierods Gmade metal driveshafts Gmade Rear steering kit Rc4wd killer transfercase Proline TSL 2.2 3Racing winch Mamba max Traxxas tx/rx Hitech 645 integgy 35t 2s Li-ion 2200mAh packs only feel free to ask any pics or specs ... and i will keep you updated with new safari pictures ;-) |
Completely awesome! The blower buggy is killer. Do you have a problem with articulation with the axel mounted servos hitting the chassis? |
Wow! Looks even better than the original |

The green one was almost stock ... with some bars cut out and some interior with driver figure. Also the electronics was underhood. |
