| G Transition shocks
Hey guys I acquired a crawler with a set of G TRANSITION shocks a few weeks back. I'm wanting to change the larger spring to something softer, which would hopefully give me more flex. Has anyone found different springs for these? Tried everything at my local hobby shop and nothing fit. Thanks Alex |

after having the R1 for a little over a year now my favorite setup for good flex is either stock g-transitions with droop setup and 80w oil with the front upper shock mounting location moved to the crossbrace behind the hood, and the rear moved to the farthest behind the cockpit body panel mount in the upper corner. but that will lower ur GC down to the 2.5-2.75 in range at the belly. i run venom crawler shocks like 130mm or something like that and put creeper droop springs in them to make them rebound slower and bring the back of chassis down a bit(this setup for rear) and for front same as previously described in this post. also try to stay between 45 and 60 degrees of flex too much and ull end up on your lid hope this helps and sorry for long post
