Default Gmade XD93 Piggyback shocks

Just got these in from Junfac. I'd have to say, these are very nice quality made shocks. Parts are very precise in tolorence. As for the adjustment to the pressure in the shock body via the piggyback resevoir...it actually works! As you increase the pressure the resistance increases. Kind of like when you have to much oil in the shock body and you can't compress or retract the piston. It's actually pretty cool! You definitely need to make sure you assebled them correctly and bleed the oil right. I used 25wt Associated silicon shock oil. The kit does come with oil, but it seems really thin.

They are a very good looking shock, but are not for scale appearance. More for performace purposes. Not sure which rig I will install them on. Due to the larger sized shock body and spring, they will not really fit my scale truggy (which I was originally going to use them on). Debating on putting them on my Gmade R1 in a droop setting. Or my SCX10 chassis rig.

I will update this later with performace info.

Just put these on my dads wraith yesterday and drove it with them for the first time today. One of the smoothest shocks i have ever built. Everything about them flows smooth.

No leakage problems yet so thats good. These are looking to be a very promising shock I would highly recommend these.
