Default Rata's ratrod

I was thinking this build

But build for off road only

I started to build some chassis out of abs .
Just to see how it fit and when the build goes further im going to cut the chassis out of alu



Im using a tamiya wild willy 2 body for the project

i cleaned the body

a special delivery from


i drilled some mountingholes for the transmission

mounted the universal shaft


4 link to the front and motor test fit ( orderd some other ones )

i installed my outrunners


and cutted my alu chassis ( it need some finnishing )

and drilling the holes

so thats it for now i keep you guys up to date .

Looks like you are nailing the rat-rod look. Great work. I was wondering about the use of the R1 axles but they look good under there.

This may sound silly, I think it will look better with the smaller wheels. What wheels and tyres are they?

The wheels are flat irons ( proline 2.2 )

With 1.9 tyres the wheels dont fall nice into its place
Maybe with some bigger 1.9 tyres we will see

I explane it soon with some pics with the body on
because my englisch isnt that good and pics say more than words
