Default R1 Gearing

I need some advice.
I am new to electrics and crawling, been running 1/5 scale 5 T's for a while.
I bought an AX 10 6 months ago and got the bug.
I have just ordered an R1 and wondered if there were pinions supplied?

I have a Novak crusher and Ballistic brushless 21.5T to go in and will be running 2s lipo.
also on order is the front battery /servo plate and delrin skid plate.

What would be a good starting point for pinion size?
I would like the same sort of speed that my AX 10 has. That is fitted with a 55t brushed motor but unsure of the pinion size.
Any help and a dice would be appreciated.

It comes with a 12t pinion. Good starting point.
