I have always like the stance and look of the R1. Just never got around to getting one. i have seen them running and they do catch my eye. A couple weekends ago i traded off some SCX10 parts and the guy tossed in the box a R1 chassis just the transmission mount and frame no axles no links nothing but a chassis. After looking around for the rest of the parts. and it just sitting on the bench starring at me! An idea popped into my head. I had a set of RC4WD bully 2 axles. and every thing needed to build a truck! So i set out to the task. Running 27t motors Novak M2 dig unit King 110mm shocks and Pitbull XOR tires it is a awesome Crawler/Trail truck. Wheel base is at 12 7/8 Transmission mount at 3 inches from ground. the L.C.G gives this rig some wild abilities out on the trail. And is my truck of choice out of my fleet. I am now running dual 2000 2s batteries in Parallel getting just under 4 hour run times off of them. |

Thanks, very happy with it's performance out on the trails and the rocks, have done over 40 runs with it. and not a single problem, truck is bullet proof.
