Default Need Help with Komodo

OK, I've always had SCX10's and figured its time for something different. SO I picked up this Komodo kit and built it stock. Today in the mail I got some upgrades. I ordered the following:
-Zero Ackerman steering arms
-Bent steering link kit
-Chassis mounted servo kit
-CVD kit (make sure you get the kit listed as "Long" otherwise they are too short)

The CMS comes with no Panhard and the whole front axle swings side to side when you steer and never centers. Any help? Can't find a Panhard kit for this truck. Am I missing something here?

The CMS kit was made for the Sawback in which case I don't think you'd need a panhard bar because the leaf springs don't allow side to side movement.

You're probably going to have to make your own panhard bar because I couldn't find one either.

Thats what I figured. Thanks. I put the servo back on the axle for now. I'll get around to making a panhard sometime soon. I also had to order the long CVA's...

watch too i have one running the springs in any other way will make you loose steering and the links arent long enough. stay away from anything gpm the 4 link i bought i dont know theres just something not right about it and replace drive shaft but measure the stock ones first. its really not that hard to mount the front bumper to the chassis. other then that the trucks sick i love the look of it.

Went through the same thing with my Sawback 4LS. I have several crawlers with standard 4 link suspension and a chassis mounted servo, and they work great, but the link geometry of the Komodo/4LS sucks. Its still a awesome crawler, but the way the front end would sway when trying to steer it with the cms was disappointing to say the least. I really don't want to run a 4 link and a panhard, so I ended up sticking the damn servo back on the axle. It'll cost me 5 points in a comp but it does improve the axle weight and lowers cg. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
