Battery Question.

So I am brand new to the life of RC Crawlers, I have some Nitro Traxxas cars so the RC style is not new to me completely. In that regards, I'm getting ready to buy a Gmade Komodo, but of course the battery is sold separately. Well my question is what is the biggest or best battery that I can buy for it to get the most run time?

Lipos are by far the way to go. If runtime is what you are after go with a 2s. You should be able to fit something in the 4000mah range in there. Check the size, the higher the mah the more runtime you will get. Dont go under 25-30C. With a 4000mah you should get about 1.5 hrs depending on driving style and terrain

The battery tray is adjustable, that would work fine. 4000 mah can last for a long time...I've done entire trail runs of 2+ hours on that.

That should work just fine. I run the cheap ones like sky lipo and turnigy but if you dont have a charger that will work. Check to see if it also charges 3s in case you decide you want more power/wheel speed in the future.
