Here's a vid from the weekend's test session still waiting on the springs to be delivered so i tad stiff still but she went well I just need to remember it doesn't have the ramp over it used to
Crab crawl for the win though I've used that alot to get me out of sticky situations like this

I was wondering if I could ask for some help with my R1. I have a lot of play when my trucks rolls front or back. Do you know if that is normal? I put some shims behind the bevel gear and that did nothing. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Hi crazyq

Yes it is normal to have a lot of "play" in the drive train on these things. It's not the bevel gear thats at fault though, the play comes from the axle where it fits into the ring gear and portal gears over time they become loose.
I have seen somewhere that someone used tin foil folded over a few times and jamed in between axle and gears but i have just learnt to live with it.
Other than the tin foil idea i could only suggest new axles and gears but $$$ though

Got the new springs in and she's working sweet now.
Love these proline shocks i have them in my scx too and they always perform well.
Took it out to the garden to go over a few rocks i have and pulled of a line i have never been able to do before
Now I need to get some more rocks cause there is nothing left in my garden that this thing can't find a way over.
