I am new to RC and just finished putting together the Gom kit. I don't think I would have gotten through this build had it not been for this thread ! Right now I'm working on programming the shift, dig functions and may just have to get by with 1st and 2nd gear until I regain some patience. One thing I am curious about is why reverse is so much faster than forward. I bought the Plus Kit from rcmart that came with a Hackmoto V2 23T 540 motor and Tritronics 60a controller. What is the remedy for this ?

Glad this has helped you. Normally if your motor is faster in reverse it means the motor wires are the wrong way (not helped by the GOMs backwards gearing) you could try swapping the motor wires and reversing the channel. Others on here my have some other ideas of how to sort it. I would highly recommend a hobbywing 1080 in a brushed setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Does anyone know what weight shock oil ships with the GOM? I need to rebuild my shocks and need to replace the oil, wondering what to order.

| Re: Coming soon .....GMADE GOM-GR1 Rock Buggy I dont know but I can say I checked everywhere I could think and there seems to be no mention of it, I ended up going with 30wt but it could maybe do with a bit thicker oil.

Hi, guys, does anyone know the difference between option part GM30095 - GA60 differential cover (Matt nickel) and the stock one? I think maybe just the color different. |

On my next Junfac order, I'm going to splurge on the Junfac 3D covers. |

| Re: Coming soon .....GMADE GOM-GR1 Rock Buggy With most option parts, you will find they are available in Titanium Grey or Silver. Check carefully when placing your order. I'm going with Titanium Grey on most of mine.

I have a feeling the stock cast metal cover is heavier than the aluminum version, which is what I'd want (the heaviest cover). And if it gets in the way of the steering links that would be doubly bad, I dont even get what the protrusion (with he extra holes) in the middle is for? anyone have a clue?
