That's not good. They were very fast when I ordered a couple times last month... Had parts within a week from Korea to Texas.

Junfac took 2 1/2 weeks to get to the toothless parts of Missouri. RPP has been my go-to during frequent breakdowns. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk |

I would have ordered from RCmart but they were all out of stock at the time.

Been too busy at the track since it became driveable, but did take the Bear out again on Friday. Drove on the track a bit - too slow for that at 13.5t brushless - and then up and down a sandy and rocky slopes. A total of 1,5 hours or so. Bent the steering link with rock collisions, still works. Broke the other side of the bumper toward the end of the run as well. Such a weakpoint design. Not sure how I'll brace it, both sides being broken jeopardizes the "hood" as the front of it can move up and down basically freely, which could lead to the whole thing snapping off if it gets caught on something! Overall not bad though, I was certainly not babying it and rolled over dozens of times, collided with the rocks, jumped down hills and at the track, etc etc. And didn't even have problems with the pins! Actually the biggest problem was the wheels. The tires have problems staying in the beadlocks when driven at speed... and the 13.5t really isn't much speed to begin with. I redid one tire twice during the run, and after I was done I have at least two of the tires - including the same on - waiting for a do-over. |

So I upgraded to the CVAs a month or so ago. Today, the pin finally gave out inside and it took that inner cylinder with it. Couldn't find it anywhere. I'm assuming there isn't a rebuild kit for these things. Am I stuck buying another set? Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk |

After it sitting on the shelf for nearly a month, I was testing out the GOM in a new area today. Vast rocky area (the pic below is but a fraction of it). Excellent place for a rock racer. I had installed a 9.5t motor on it now, which was "lucky" as I found that my gear shifts no longer work. Something's stuck or broken and it's working only on low gear now. But with the 9.5t it was basically as fast on low gear as the previous 13.5t was on high. As we know the gearboxes are a real pain to get to, but I guess it needs to be done one of these days Other than that I had accidentally installed the wrong pins in the rear axles when I reattached the wheels the other day, which was causing issues with wobbly wheels. Only realized the reason at the end of the run - the pins were biting into the metal hexes and making them be at a slight angle. Luckily no permanent damage done except a bit to the hexes. On the upside it seems adding some shoe goo to the outer bead of the tires helped keep them in place even with faster driving, at least for now. |

Yep, it's a great area, especially for a rock racer. It's about 200x100m or a bit more in size, so there's plenty of space for both bashing and climbing.

Got a set of these for the front of the GOM. They're available in the same 103mm length as stock. Piggyback shocks always seemed gimmicky to me in R/C but the pressure adjustment screw is a cool feature that seems to work well. |

Yea, I got those piggybacks on mine. Buddy bought them for his scx10.2 but wouldn't fit in the fenders, traded me for the standard shock caps. I can't really tell a difference over the regular ones, but they look cool. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk |

With my heavy D110 I have found the only the RSD piggy backs can hold it up nicely and I’m able to tune each corner spot on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

EDIT: I like this rebuild kit as it includes the barrel with a set screw through it for holding the pin in place Junfac Universal Shaft 5mm hole Replacement Parts (1) and for the pins I'd recommend using longer 12mm versions https://www.amainhobbies.com/serpent...110215/p210315 Last edited by HumboldtEF; 06-19-2018 at 04:13 PM.

I decided to buy some 2mm tool steel rod for my pins. I just cut it into 12mm sections and the them into a container in my tool bag. We'll see how they work. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk

I'm really interested in how those Axial Universals work with the Wraith knuckles. If they work well... I might as well just do that.
