What transmitters are you using for your GOM? I've been looking at the rc4wd XR4 but it looks like you can't trim the 3 position switch...

the GTB3B and the C all have 3 position rockers on the grip. Plus if you want you can hack them to more channels. You could also look at something like the new Radiolink RC6GS.

| Re: GOM Transmitter Neither of my gt3c handsets gave a 3 position switch on the grip. It's just an on off option. Unless there is something I'm missing in the default setup....

It’s hacked, though. I just want a transmitter that will work without me spending half a day making it work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

apologies - forgot about the need for the hack. In my experience most steering wheel type controllers, even the 3/4 channel models have a on/off switches and at best variable dials for the extra channels. I've not found one myself with a 3 position toggle switch. For that I suspect you need to go to an "old skool" dual stick transmitter with extra channels. Thats what I'm doing, repurposing a Radiolink AT9 that I had for my drone. The Turnigy TGY-i6S (its a clone of the flysky i6s) is a model I've seen a couple of GOM owners using, you can pick them up from hobbyking in the UK for ~£46.00 - see here for the mode2 version - https://hobbyking.com/en_us/i6s-afhd...olour-box.html That would also give you expansion potential for controlling lights etc with the other channels and is pretty cheap. Firmware upgrades are easy and there are loads of tutorials on youtube. Hope that helps? |

| Re: GOM Transmitter Turns out the cheap Tactic transmitter that comes with Axial RTRs can do 3 or 4 position with the 3rd channel straight out of the box. It's weird to me that they don't all do it. Even the cheapest airplane transmitter has at least one 3 position switch on it. |

Ohhh...good find...I could move my absina CR3P that I use with the GOM to the SCX10 RTR and then use this...but I wonder what the end point adjustment is like. Does anyone have any experience with this though... https://hobbyking.com/en_us/tracksta...e-version.html Its cheap and 4 channel, would be handy if it had a 3 position 3rd or 4th channel.... |

Spektrum dx4s has 3 pos switches and assignable programming. I have that and a hacked flysky. Both affordable radios.

I plan on using the DX4C, thats what my brother is using at the moment. I find its UI is pretty easy to use to setup the 3rd channel for shifters and and other 3 position functions (that is once you understand what your doing)
