Offset front diff, counter rotating transmission, front(ish) mounted motor, front mounted battery, cantilever rear suspension. Seems like its a bit different than everything else out there.

Dang good find, Frank! You're our breaking news in crawlers and RC man! This truck brings a lot of nice features to our scaleness in crawling, opposite rotation F/R differentials, offset front pumpkin, smallish diffs, adjustable length chassis. Not all new features, but good looking stuff! Need some OD/UD axle gears though.

Not really. Cross RC demon SG4 kit already has Counter Rotating trans in their kits since the 1st day of release.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery .

Will be interesting to see how it performs, once those admittedly bizarre looking tires are replaced. But who ever keeps stock tires?

I have those tyres on my Komodo, they are ok but definitely would upgrade them on the gs02

I wonder if they did to this what they did to the GOM, where everything appears to work with axial based parts but are just ever so slightly off.

Can't tell, but I hope they maintain their practice of using actual beadlock wheels vs glue-ons. I like the stock wheels but can definitely imagine losing the tyres

I'm interested to see if gmade can finally make something that will be a game changer or contender in the market. It would be nice to have yet another option.

S Korean industrial world market philosophy seems to be come in quietly under the radar, attract some consumer attention and start building a base and share slowly so their foothold is well founded before larger manufacturers take notice and confront them as relevant competition. LG, Samsung, Hyundai, Kia took this approach 25 years ago and look at their impressive presence in the NA marketplace now.

I feel like GMade isn't looking to change the game (yet) but to capitalize on proven concepts and trends while introducing one or two unique features to attract modest but dependable sales. May be a little soon in their strategy to bring out the artillery, but I would expect to see it eventually.

From a technical point of view it does look better than the Komodo - more front weight, better shocks. And chassis mounted bumper and has rock sliders out of the box, too. Figures, having bought the Komodo in the spring. I will say that I definitely like the Komodo body more, though. And won't be swapping to this regardless - I've even been contemplating selling the Komodo to fuel my emerging RC plane craze as what little off-track driving I've done in the past two months has been with the GOM.

Yeah and Currie axles look like axles people have been building for 30 years.

Yeah, I like the Komodo over the TRX4 Sport Body. I mean I’m still getting a Sport but I don’t like the body at all lol.

What? It's one big reason I bought the Komodo in the first place!
