Default GS02 Bom

Maybe it’s just me, but that things looks a lot like an SCX10 II up front. Gotta love those Proline wheels.

Not tested yet, still waiting on my ESC! Should have been here yesterday...
The counter rotating shafts were one of the deciding factors in buying this particular rig. I think I'm gonna have to rob an ESC out of another truck for the moment.
And thanks for the compliment on colour, it does look rather nice and was handy as I had a part tin knocking about...

Maiden run today at a place called 'The Cloud' just outside Congleton in the UK. Compact place with a pretty good variety of trails and rocks...
Box stock, except the wheels & tyres. Proline rims and Flat Iron XL's
Thoughts? It does need improvement, the stock memory foam inserts are way to soft, that will change with some dual stage inserts. That will also allow weight to be added lower down for better COG. It is a little tippy on side hills, but a very capable climber- the gritstone of the Dark peak is hugely grippy.

Anyway, pics...

Looking good! Can't wait to finish mine this weekend and test it out. Hopefully I can put together a decent review video and get it out.

Metal or plastic trans gears?

And is that rear axle housing open on the top?

That was my thought too.

Go ask your mirror. That'll give you the same result.

whats your guys' take on the transmission? Ive never seen something like this. The trans has 2 shafts inside the case, but the case is open on the bottom. then you add 2 more shafts that you sandwich between the transmission case and the skid plate.

Trans is sealed when built, the lower part gives the counter rotation on the drive shafts. A two speed will be available as well. In operation, its pretty quiet, plenty of grease in mine- UK weather, its a must!

Yeah, they just cost reduced the design and let the skid plate serve as the bottom half of the tranny housing...

Just did that. No answer...and then I realized it was asking me the same question...WTH...??

I doubt the BOM is going to see the same level of activity as the SCX10.2 or TRX-4. We may have to settle for the brand specific subforum, which at least exists.

You know what? My manual doesn't show to apply grease in the transmission, but the one on their website does. Which is why I thought it wasn't sealed.

That's crazy...I need to look at my manual when I get home, although I'm sure it's exactly the same as yours.

Somebody's fired.

That's what I was thinking...

Edit: Grease indicator is missing from steps 36, 37 and 38 (front & rear universals) in the printed manual too...
