Hard to say TBH, mine has about 8hrs on it, and while the 'diffs' were not perfect they span freely anyway. Mainly bought for longevity amd it is a touch heavier than stock...

Glad to know minev weren't the only ones that were not smooth. Regardless, imo, these are RC cars, I have imagine an imperfect gear mesh being an issue

Out with some friends today, mine now has the minty fresh(ish!) C10 Chevy cab on it, the original has a fair size split now- want to repair it before it gets too bad... Bit more brass... Chinese front knuckles and weights. Tight fit, but no rubbing... My Chinese wheels fit OK, but the plastic prolines wont... And I'm guessing a few others as well without some mods to the weights. 20181010_190624 by Peter Rathbone, on Flickr Lower links, 8mm brass rod. Will probably machine them to look similar to the originals... 20181010_190642 by Peter Rathbone, on Flickr Weighted wheels now on the rear. Dont think the front needs much more weight- although I'm making lower links and the steering connector rod out of brass as well... Last edited by Old n ratty; 10-10-2018 at 12:44 PM. |
