I love the look of this paint job. I'll definitely be searching for a tutorial on how this is done. I really like the patina look of it.

Assuming you're talking about the rusted out SR5, I believe it's a vinyl wrap from FreqSkinz.

Correct, the body has been wrapped with a Freqeskinz wrap.

Changed up my GS02...It's time to retire the Yota body....introducing "Vertigo".

Love it. I think the stock body is fantastic. Looks great with that paint scheme - always a sucker for blue and silver.

I have been going back and forth lately on what kit to start for the new comp year and you've sold me on the potential of this rig.

Love the build, that SR5 cab was super cool but I'm digging the stock body as well.

I just wanted to thank you for having this build documented so well. I was already interested in the Bom but you helped solidify my choice and I'm almost done my build now.

I Agree your thread (and others) helped me make my final choice also.

I wonder what improvements can be achieved on a scx10 II adopting counter rotating shafts (and at least a diamond axle to swap the bevel gear). If benefits are very limited as it seems from your experience with the BOM it is not worth to try.

Thanks

Filippo....When my BOM was using the cantilever rear suspension, the torque twist was quite prevalent, and that's with counter-rotating front and rear driveshafts. I don't have any other rigs that have this feature, but to me, it really didn't help. I say it's not worth it to try.

Those are to replace the axle's pinion output so that regular style driveshafts can used.

So I would need those if I am to use the Junfac driveshafts?

I love your build, so much that I am copying a lot of it.

I appreciate the compliment, thanxs. If you purchase the BOM specific Junfac driveshafts, those pinion outputs are not required. If you wanted to use Axial Wildboars or MIP driveshafts for example, then the pinion output conversion parts are required.

Okay, thank you. So far I think everything I have built, you already have and have great write-ups.

What is your current shock setup? Still using Traxxas front shocks? What Weight oil/pistons/ springs were you using in the front when you used the Gmade shocks and what are you using in the rear as far as Weight oil/pistons/ springs?

I need to become a paying member. This is my forth build and I have plenty of pictures to share...

Thanxs Gr8 PMKN. I haven't changed the shock set-up recently except for adding the Gmage soft springs for the rear shocks. As far as oil weights, I probably used 30wt front and 50 rear IIRC.

Finally got my BOM back out on the rocks...I was astonished by it's crawling performance today, I'm very happy. This rig is definitely my 1.9 "go-to" rig now.
