Axial AR60 Differential in GOM Axle?

Hey everyone I tried searching the forum and Google and couldn't find an answer to this question. Does anyone know if you can put an Axial AR60 / SCX10 differential assembly and use it inside of a GOM axle? I want to be able to run a front open differential for U4RC in my GOM and it's really easy to open up an Axial AR60 with their spider gears.... but I can't find anyone who makes an open differential for the GOM. Thus, can I put an AR60 differential inside of a GOM axle? If so, what bearings or spacers or mods do I need?

I don't know the answer to your question, BUT....

dustinf on here has put in HPI gears in his front diff to make it an open diff. Look for his thread.
