Gmade Gom Battery Compartment Size?

I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find specs on the battery compartment size of the Gmade Gom.


Or if you can provide which battery you are using and how much room you have left, I can look up the specs.

Thanks Aiden. However, I can't do much with just the cell count and the pack type. If you gave me the brand and mAh I can look up the dims.

For anyone else looking, I came across a build log (by RC Driver) that suggested they tried the MaxAmps 2S 5450mAh 120C (lol at that c rating) hard case and that was too big. This MaxAmps measures 137x45x18mm. They went on to say that the Onyx 2S 5400mAh 50C fit fine. The Onyx measures 132x42x29mm so I'm guessing the length and width were just a bit much for the MaxAmps.

Just want to be able to have a lipo ready for when the Gom arrives. Hope this is helpful to anyone else.

Got my GOM

In case anyone else is wondering rough approximation of battery compartment size is 140mm length, 47mm wide, and 25mm tall. This makes it a tight fit length and width-wise. There may be some room on the height (~~2-3mm). Take into account the way the lipo leads come out of the battery too - sticking straight out the end will take up some length while coming somewhat out of the side might work better.

Its looking like this Gens Ace 2S 4000mah is a really good fit ...



I'm also a huge fan of Tattu and Gens Ace lipos. They are bullet proof and their C ratings actually mean something.
