| Hello,Just bought a GS02 Bom
I have just took delivery of a new GS02 Bom kit. This is my first crawler so will more than likely be posting for advice/help/tips. I am in the UK so there are very few Crawler clubs so this is just for Dad and son fun. I went brushed set up so have a 35t dual bearing motor and HW 1080 esc. Steering wise I am looking at 25kg metal case and gear servo.mid range again, will 25kg be ok? Yet to look into cells, will go lipo, will I need 2s or 3s? One early issue I did have was the Trans case. I read here about the issue with this and that later kits have revised parts, from jan 2019. When I ordered my kit I asked if it as been on the shelf for long? was told this stock was from nov 2019,so I ordered. QC card in kit showed nov 2018!!!!!! Rang the UK distributer who were great and new parts are being sent. Hope I have not bored you guys and hope you are a good bunch of guys in the Gmade club : ) |

It's their mold release. It takes a while and several washings, but it will eventually come off. I didn't even bother as I went with Pro-Line TSL Swamper tires. | |

Hi Gazzalene, I just bought mine also and it dates back to 2018. Do you know what parts were upgraded? |

I'm in Canada, so it will probably take 6 weeks before I receive the parts. Sent from my SM-A530W using Tapatalk |

Hopefully that solves it. I was able to get my tran case in just the right spot that the clicking temporarily stopped.

Well after receiving the new parts and installing them I had about 5 minutes of great crawling before the gears slipped again. To say i'm disappointed is an understatement. This was my first build and I really wanted to be a big fan of Gmade. Probably time to buy a RTR SCX10 or something so I can enjoy some crawling on the trails.

G-made finally answered me back that they will be shipping the updated parts. I guess they had problems with my e-mails. Liljun10 Is it possible that the gears had a tooth that was damaged from before? The local retailer here has several of them with the old transmission and he has no problems. |
