| GS02......Worth it or not?
Ok so I'll admit that I got bored with the crawling scene (around my area) a while back and essentially sold everything crawler related. I had just finished an SCX10ii and had gotten as far as painting a body for it, but sold it all. Well now I'm hating the fact that I did that, so I'm kicking around the idea of building something I could get out on some trails and do some filming with. No offense to anybody, but I'm just not a fan of Axial these days since Horizon has gotten involved, so I really don't want to go that route. I have a friend who recently picked up a Gmade GS02, and I kinda like it. I haven't seen it out on any trails, but I still the kit itself. It's nice to see not only wheelbase options right out of the box but I'm also kinda digging the 3 different rear shock set up options. My question is....If anybody here HAS built it and ran it, did it live up to your expectations or not? Just curious, and would GREATLY appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance, and here's hoping this finds you all doing well. |

Yes, it most certainly did. Once it was set up, it was a fantastic performer. And it looked good while doing it. There should be a build thread in the Gmade section on mine. Definitely worth a read. Also look at billinvic's thread, it was very good as well. |

I bought a bom, sold my 10.2 and never looked back. I'm running the V-style shock config and this truck is without question as good as or better than my 10.2 was...

I’m really impressed with the GS-02 platform. 👍🏼

Literally waiting for the delivery of my GS02 Komodo at the moment. I am still deciding on what power plant/ ESC combo is going into the rig. I have heard good things about the HW Axe about the quietness and the excellent autopilot mode, but I am also trying to look at the Tekin RX4 as it provides way a lot more punch than the Axe. |
