Default Crazy Question, Will the element IFS kit fit a GS02?

I know they make parts to adapt the IFS kit to the SCX10. Does that mean the kit would fit the GS02 as well? Ideas are swirling in my head, I domt have a GS02 yet but i am seriously considering the pro chassis kit.

This is building hobby and with some simple tools it probably would work. I did this build with a drill, dremel and a few other simple tools. I did have the pan made but could have made one, less nice though. Buy the parts and start tinkering!

There are two problems with the element ifs on the gmade gs02.

1. it would provide a 25% underdrive to the front. So you would need to swap out the rear to something lower maybe a scx10.2.

2. If I'm not mistaken it spins in the same direction as the rear which on any other truck would be fine, but because of the fact that the driveshafts rotate in opposite directions on this rig it would cause the front and rear to spin in opposite directions.

Now, are these impossible to overcome? No

The simple fix to both problems would be to get the ifs front and get scx10.2 rear with portals and both of the major issues fixed.

As for actually mounting the ifs you will have to do some figuring but it should be possible.

2 is easy. You just swap the orientation of the gears. Some people have accidentally built their IFS kit wrong, and wondered why their front and rear are rotating opposite in their Enduro.
