Default sawback rollcage?

i see there is a vendor here selling a 4 point cage, and it does look good... what are you guys thinking about it? running one, or no. the windsheld frame has me concerned after the first good tumble it looks like it will be lost forever. i was planning on brazing one (a 6 point) out of brakeline, but before i do, i want to see if anybody has any other ideas

Scalerfab has a four point roll cage for sale. I found it on Ebay and mine is in transit along with his skid plate.

thats who i was talking about... do you think you are going to need a cage? how is the windsheild secured? is it flexible and or hinged? its driving me nuts trying to plan out this build before i have seen the truck in person.

A roll cage would be a ideal thing incase of a roll over. I'll be getting one soon.

not too bad considering they are built from 3/16" solid round stock...

Probably in the 4-6 oz range depending on whether you get the backing plates...

thats a good looking truck. for a stock truck, the compromises that junfac had to make seem insignificant... you hit the nail on the head Troy. if they used your pics for their marketing, they would double sales.have you approached rpp about marketing a package that could be ordered directly with the kit? after the bumper is available, that is...

Scalerfab, when making the rear bumper w/spare tire, keep in mind when going up hill, the spare tire may drag/hang up. Maybe make a skid of some sort to protect the tire.
