Love it.

No problem with mine other than a stock drive shaft that wanted to pop off every so often. It now has metal shafts and no problems with the rest of the drive train. Great little truck. I'd buy another if I didn't have more rigs than I need already.

I feel the same as raceeng18. I'd buy it again if I didn't have too many trucks as it is. Other than typical leaf spring gripes, I have really enjoyed mine.

Its a nice little truck with lots of possibilities for a scale build and stuff to tinker with to customize it.

It has a few areas for improvement like the drive shafts. But not anymore than most other rigs.

You do need a set of sun glasses for the glare reflected from the really shiny frame.

Ha! True! I painted my frame before I even considered building the kit. I don't remember a rig I've had that did not need hardened gears and steel driveshafts almost immediately, so did not even considered them weaknesses.

Are you still using the stock pinion with that setup?

Will the battery tray allow running a 3S lipo? Also, could a person retro fit an Axial trans/RC4WD 2 speed in this rig? I shouldn't even be looking at another rig, but damn this hobby is addictive!

You would have to drill new holes in the stock skid or use an axial skid and use spacers as the sawback one is a bit wider but it could be done. Im running an sx10 skid in mine for more clearance and am waiting for my trans to go before installing most likely an rc4wd two speed

If you're gunna put a big power 3s system or you plan on treating it like a basher, you should invest in some metal driveshafts and the cvd's, but 90% of people run them like a scale truck and haven't broken a thing. I'm up well over 50 hours on mine and the only breakage was a $0.30 battery tie

I guess I have 1 gripe that a few others have already discussed, the skid plate. Man today was the last straw for it, I understand there are limitations to everything but I felt silly seeing my rig teeter totter many times on rocks, small branches & a few bricks. Time to look back at the build threads & see what others have already done & how theirs works for em.
