They are awesome for the price. Best leaf sprung RC truck I have ever owned. Why be like everyone else? Build a Sawback and be an individual. |

Shape Shifter has it right. I own two rigs with leaf springs and this one really works. |

They're not too good to be true. They're inexpensive, very cool, and they perform so well! I think it's an awesome rig and it's my favorite right now. I just love it! The only common issue is that the leaf springs bend. Some people have links to prevent this, but the leafs are always going to be the weak point. A new set is $20 so, to me, it's not a big deal at all. |

I don't even want to run my other rigs right now, having to much fun working on this one. After some rear leaf spring issues I added the long leaf under the main leaf to help stiffen it up. Work even better than I though and did about 6 hour of testing at the course this past week with it.

I love mine and have never owned a leafer before but having to think about your lines makes it so much more fun I changed my tranny/skid plate for an ax10 one , little bit of packing out one side is all it needs , it gives a bit more ground clearance and pitbull tyres makes mine such a great rig to use :-) |

I have both a sawback and an axial scx10. I kind of wish I never bought the sawback. Mine bounces like a happy puppy, always bending the springs, and have broken 3 steering servos. All in a few months . Chuck |

| Re: sawback? 3 servos, sure your not doing somthing wrong there? I like this rig becuase it's not an scx10 and have to choose better lines, it's a trail truck.

| Re: sawback? Amen, brother. The Sawback drives like a real truck and takes more thought to drive. I keep up with SCX10s all day long.

I keep breaking the gear off at the servo saver. The steering link sticks out on mine. Where we crawl my Sasha k would have a hard time keeping up. Chuck |

... I didn't had any issues so far with mine ... I use a 20 + kg Servo, no servo safer, a brushed Motor with a tekin esc .... and everything is fine .... But I also do only "things" with this car, I would do with a real car .... I also "crawl" on the rocks --- with full articulation ... but ---- I don't drive with "scale" 400+km/h in the rocks, no 15m jumps in the garden from my real house .... maybe thats why all is still ok ....
