Default Broke my CVD..

Finally got my Sawback up to first test run and... snap.

Yes, car is brand new, just got it finished today, part is brand new, never been driven before, assembled it when i built the car.
Didnt even get to finish first 2200mah battery when that happened.
Anyone else got snapped CVD´s?
This is by far worst case scenario ive ever had with brand new "hop-up" part. Snap-up would suit better.
Already wrote to Junfac and asked for replacement as this is really not acceptable.

How much power are you running (2200 makes me think 3s)? Something has to be set up wrong because these things are beefy. I have nearly a hundred hours on mine and haven't broken a single part yet, and I don't take it easy. Maybe email Gmade and try and get a free replacement?

So quite normal setup.
As i already mentioned, i wrote to Junfac where i bought those and described what happened. Free replacement is what im looking for.

Oops haha didn't see that. 3s does seem a bit overpowered but it's all in the way you drive really. Good luck

Overpowered? Says.. where? I have always used 3S lipos with crawlers and imo its the only way to go.

Mine broke just like yours in the middle of a competition yesterday. I looked at the CVDs before installing them and I thought that there was not a lot of steel holding them together. I do feel ripped off. Unfortunately I did not bring my stock axles with me as back up and I only finished 84 out of 124 gates. :(

Cant really say that Junfac has a good customer service. Been 5 days since i wrote about the axle but still no answer.
Makes me wonder if i want to order again from there if even answering to e-mail is this hard.

Contact Us : JunFac.com

As i said, cant recommend that option.
But it seems that its the only option as theres no simple e-mail address nowhere.

Next im going to contact GMade, but im quite sure of their answer..

EDIT: yeah, right.. GMade has exactly the same address info as Junfac. Didnt really surprise me as GMade = Junfac and vice versa..
But at least they have "tech support"..

They finally answered when i wrote a second message inquiring why they havent answered.
Junfac apologized for the late answer, asked my motor and gearing setup and if i could send a pic of the broken axle.
So i did and now ill just wait for the final resolution.

That would be no. Imo the turning radius isnt any better compared to stock dogbones. Funny as Junfac says that CVA gives 10 degrees more, but that isnt true. Problem is that the steering block hits the edge of c-block when full steer.
Theres a possibility to dremel a bit those steering blocks and gain some radius, but i think even better is to buy those aluminium blocks.
If someone has them, i would hear gladly if the radius gets better with them.
