Default Sawback Yota truggy project.

So I have a bunch of yota bodies laying around so I decided to build up my sawback.
build a high clearence skid.

Rotated trans and added sliders/body mounts.

Started work on the cage.

Now I'm working on a battery tray and chassis mounted servo plate all in one.

Finished up mocking up the battery/servo plate. I have some bump steer but I'm not worried.

What bumper is that? One you built or store bought?

It's a stock plastic trailfinder bumper I used for mock up.

Like the name. I have a VR6 sitting in my driveway waiting for some attention. My R gets it all now we got some snow.

Nice!! Vr6 and an R32? No wonder i love this truck you got loll...

If you were gonna put an interior in the truck would you have to move the motor and trans all the way up front?

yes there is no room for an interior which is also the reason i went with the tinted window... by the way its an R not R32.... i kinda wish it was an R32 but im very happy with how it has turned out......

nice with the bed too... i want to get the hilux body but really want an interior. I havent seen anyone with a front mount tranny and transfer case done...
BTW, any AWD golf is fun as hell i just picked up my mk7 GTI... i still love my mk4 VR6 GTI better than any of the other 6 or so ive had though!
