Drive shaft ? Who makes the best drive shaft that will fit the sawback ? Part # ? |
Re: Drive shaft ? I am using THE GPM shafts for scx10, and really like those. Solid, great fitting"thumbsup" |
Re: Drive shaft ? The harden steel JUNFAC ones from korea are great. very reasonable. Only broke one cva cup in 2 years doing something stupid.... |
Re: Drive shaft ? I've had great luck with Junfac, MIP Spline drives and STRC. |
Re: Drive shaft ? I have these Junfac's on both of my wraiths. The only thing I can complain/share about these is that those little C rings (don't know what they're called) that are supposed to hold the crosspins in, don't. Edit: By "don't", i mean that the opening on the "C rings" rattle around until the pin can pop out of the opening, allowing the shaft to slide off un-noticed). No pics, hard at work not working! I've lost shafts on trails but after some quick backtracking found the pieces and was able to repair with no tools at all. It happened to my other wraith over this past camping trip... not fun when you're already a few miles up the mountain trail! I'll be pulling them and heat shrinking the crosspins in to place with a heavy shrink wrap, hopefully that'll hold. (Better idea? Do share!!!!) Cheers guys |
