Installed a winch coupled to a HeyOK controller.

Crawlster kit.

Does the rodends from link to servo has to look like that? I tought it supposed to be horizontal? Had to adjust the amount of travel of my servo probibly because of that. To the right 85% travel and to the left 125% travel just to have it even on both sides.

Installed the Hey ok BEC 6v.

Today first testrun in the woods.

Thanks, i also changed the leafsprings up front, because i found out the leafs hitting the crawlster kit. So i changed it, smaller leaf underside, (helper).
Like it should have been i guess, compared to my tf2.

Looks like this was a great event ... .
... and you also brought back to home a nice souvenir

Saw your Crawlster mod. And since I am very happy with it, it would be even better, using additionally the "Chassis Mounted Steering Servo Kit"

GS01 Chassis Mounted Steering Servo Kit [GM52411S] : JunFac.com

Not only you get a more propper look, but also more torque or need less power ...
(there is a pic at the second page in my thread)

Wolf

You talk about the "white thing" ?

... this is a modified "SUPERLIFT Steering Damper" from RC4WD for a better scale look. But you also need additionally a modified/ extended knuckle arm .... to get back the full steering radius, the Crawlster set had with the stock parts .

So this has probable been covered multiple times. But, how does the sawback compare with the TF2?

THanks for the compliments. Difficult to compare my tf2 and my sawback. Due toe the other size tyres. And the fact my TF2 is top heavy due to the steel roofrack. So because of the better/bigger tyres my Sawback crawls better. Besides that i drive my Sawback a bit harder / rougher then my TF2.

Painted the bed, painted and mounted the rollbar. Didnt do a perfect tape-job, so there is some paint spray on the doors, but scuffed the spots light for a little rough look.

After a rockcrawling session, my body got heavily scratched and beaten. Yes battle scars, however i when i painted the bed, i made some paintingfails. So this was a good moment for a paintjob. And did some detailing with a sharpie.
