Shock upgrade

Just finished converting my sawback to 4 link up front and the stock shocks are too soft. They are made for a leaf spring setup. What's a good replacement? Budget is a factor. Any suggestions is much appreciated!

I wouldn't mess with the stock "shocks" - they have no dampening and little adjustability. Any SCX10 shock should bolt on. - stock, Icons, etc.

SCX10 shocks are known for leaking quite heavily. Unless you do something like green slime or try maybe even a decent marine grease. I would personally take a look at Gmades RSD Shocks that just came out within the past month or two, though saying that I may hold off until more people have reviewed them just to make sure there aren't some sorta odd issue that you may run into. From what I hear RC4WD King Shocks work fairly well, also read that Power Strokes from Pro line are decent as well.

Most shocks when converted from leafs to links are not really adjustable as they where just being used for dampening of the leaf springs, same thing happens with RC4WD Vehicles when you convert to linked suspension you really need to get new shocks.
