Exclamation RC-TV - Crawling Challenge

RC-TV (http://www.xten.tv) will be covering a new "Challenge" Segment for Season Three (the winner of the challenge receives $1000 (no Sponsor for the money yet?)).

In one of the segments, John Elliot will be drag-racing his nitro 1/8 pan car against a 1:1 funny-car dragster. The RC Car’s 0-60 is quicker, but the Dragster’s top speed is faster. The trick will be deciding the correct distance to make it a fair race.

Nicholas Leach has asked for ideas on a Crawling Challenge Segment…

My ideas:
1:1 Crawler on a 1:1 Crawling Course vs. an RC Crawler on a scale version of the same course?
(Real vs. RC)

Bender Customs vs. SoCal Crawlers?
(Driver against Driver)

Bender with stock AX-10 vs. an inexperienced driver using Bender’s Championship Rig?
(Driver vs. Machine)

What are your thoughts and ideas?

Real vs RC seems to fit the ticket for what they would seem to want.

Keep in mind that RC-TV is looking for any RC Crawler challenge.

Another idea would be to get the first RC Crawler to climb all the stairs of the CN Tower (Machine vs. Man-made Structure).

Anything goes.

LOL! (actually, in my mind he was in all three).
:-P

Sorry if I offended anyone (or inflated Brad's ego too much), but I’m new to Crawlin’ and do not know many Crawlers.
Jason of RCCrawler.com is another fine choice.
Speaking of which, He has brought this to my attention:

http://www.rccrawler.com/antarctica.html
First crawler to circle the world.

…another great example of a Crawler Challenge.
I’m just throwing out ideas to get some back.

(Some of the Names have been changed to protect the innocent).

Awesome ideas... but i think Rc vs Real is cool, just that they should run on the same course.

I'd like to see that, have a 1:1 run a course and then have an R/C crawler run the same course... who can do it faster? But I think that a crawler course designed for a 1:1 might almost be TOO easy for an R/C, y'know? I mean, lots of obstaqcles that a 1:1 would have to crawl over an R/C might just be able to go around. Or, conversely, could be nearly impossible for the R/C to traverse (though I've never seen that yet. I've seen some R/C crawlers do stuff the 1:1's couldn't!)

I would like to see a scale buddy system rock challenge. 2 rigs, 2 drivers team up and tackle a course. Towing, winching, leap frog, etc.

I like that... Does anyone have a scale version of a 1:1 Crawler (and access to the full sized rig it was modeled after)?

Pretty sure most people could make one tough. Maybe Mr. Hallenbeck against himself scaled down lol. Just got the idea seeing his rigs in Rccar action.
