Default Nigel's "no section for it" 08 Comp Rig

I put this in the general section because it isn't based of any certain truck. The axles will be a poulson/fat cat style... of course my own interpretation.

I'm using:
Maxx diffs
Wheely King CVDs
TLT knuckles
Axial beadlocks
Jordans
R2d
645 for the dig
27 turn
maxx drive shafts
mg946r for steering
Mamba Max
CC bec
tube chassis
Grappler body

I started on the front axle....

1/8" x 1.5" Aluminum

With TLT knuckles

Bent some Cs

Made a cradle for the maxx diff

Cut the pumkin for the cradle

Pumkin together

In place

Pretty good clearance?

That is a great idea. I was helping one of our locals do one up and I couldn't figure out how to minimize all the extra crap like that. Great job on that so far.

Nice,

How are you bonding the Aluminum. Or does it need to be welded yet?

Thanks, I stared at your axles for along time before starting on mine. I'm not sure yet. I'm probably going to do something similar to yours. Why did you use half high lift and half pede as opposed to all one or the other? Did you use E or T maxx diffs? The outputs are different sizes right?

Just curious, but how well do you think those Maxx diffs will hold up? They dont look all that beefy?

The pin on the pede yolk can be pressed out & on to the HL yolk. The HL yolk was easier to drill out to 6mm. The pede yolk's 5mm on the TLT cvd. Yes, maxx w/spool.

Why go with WK cvd's? Cheaper?

nitromtcrawler-
7.25" from outside of hub to outside of hub

Krawlin-
They are bigger than wk/axial ring, pinion, and diff. They are the beef.

DISTURBIN' tha PEACE-
What size are the HL yolks? E or T? I'm using the WK cvds because I can steal them out of my WK axles.

The Real Dogman-
Sure... there is only one though.

Made the panhard mount. It also is the mount for one side of the servo. Mocked up with 5.5" jordans.
