That is a great idea. Now I can build something to crawl on in my storage room. Here in Germany it rains alot so I can't go crawling much, also on post there is not that much crawling places. Good job!!!!!!!!!! |

These were a huge hit at the NW Hobby Expo. George did an awesome job on these things, they are challenging, versatile, have better traction than most real rock, and most of all, they are just super-cool |

Thanks for all the accolaids guys! I'll update it again with more specifics about the cube designs I've refined. The project went through several phases of construction with lots of trial and error also lots of good advise and feedback. You can see some of my early prototypes in the chit chit forum here. Indoor Rock Course? |

Do you have a rough cost and weight for each cube? This is not the type of thing to show a guy with an addiction You You .....enablers |

Great idea, endless set-up options. Good alternative to the ton of rock in my basement floor. Those probably don't hurt when dropped on a toe |

Thank god I have a free weekend and $200 bucks to waste on crates and dental cement. I am going to give it a shot this weekend. I am a fairly creative guy so I figure I will post some pics on here if everything goes well. Thanks for the amazing ideas.

Best idea for an indoor course I've seen. I live in an upstairs apartment and my son and I have gotten a few rocks form some farmer fields but I worry about the weight on the floor. So this would be a great alterative. And the fact that you can spin each crate four ways would let us change the course over and over again. |
