| Hi, my scale tuber has a R2 tranny with a 55turns motor. It crawls perfect, real slow (with axial axles and 2,2" tires). I am thinking of adding some speed with a second gear. My question: Is the R2 two speed gear ratio in first gear the same like the singlespeed R2, plus a slightly faster 2nd gear ? I am not sure about that ... They say on their website: Two speed: 6.7:1 (with 8 tooth pinion gear) or 11.4:1 (with 8 tooth pinion gear) One speed:10:1 to 30:1 Gear Ratio (8T to 20T 32 pitch pinion gears) It looks like the gears are completly different on the two speed version, or am I wrong? Thanks for any help with that, bevore I buy something ! Pete |

| Could you run different pinions to get the same first gear ratio that you have now on the 2 speed? |
