Default guess i just like to measure stuff

today i hooked up a bud's Whatt Meter (that's AstroFlite's spelling, not mine) to the BLT-8, just cuz it was there.

with 6 cells and a Titan, the motor puts out 242 watts max. measured by holding the truck down and pegging the throttle.

wheels off the ground, 20 watts. (driveline friction and wheel inertia)

no point to all this, but it sure has tech content!

you should do the same for a 55t motor. then a brushless. measure at the battery for the brushless i would suppose. i wish i had a watt meter.

this does have great tech content that i like to hear!! keep spittin those numbers to me!

It is quite simple, grab the device, put it in a box and mail it to me for safe keeping

it's so easy a monkey could so it. hook it up between the battery and esc.

not quite as easy as climbing a tree and throwing feces at people, blut close.

I sell the "Watts up" watt meters in my shop and they have a "highest amp" reading and a "lowest voltage under load " reading that flashes on the display for as long as it is still hooked up. We have used these on-board of a few Mini-T's and RC18T's to test Watts/Amps/and voltage under load to determine if we are killing anything. You can drive them around under "real world" conditions to see what the motor is drawing while driving .

If you really want to get technical, get the Medusa power analyzer and you can hook it up directly to your PC to save real time data !

that's a lot better than trying to read it while the truck is in motion!

watt do those go for?
