I was curious if anyone else out there has any indoor crawling spots in their homes? Is your wife as awesome as mine and doesn't care if you bring a ton of rocks into the basement? I wanted to see some pics for ideas

I'm going to try making an artificial rock course this weekend out of great stuff foam, cardboard, burlap bags. I've been crawling over all of my sons toys and baby gates...I'll post pics when I finish.

Might I suggest making a course on a 4x8 sheet of plywood for ease of moving. I used various cardboard boxes and chicken wire and some old sheets, towels and t-shirts. Then add a 25 dollar can of fiberglass resin from the hardware store. The towels and t-shirts give a rougher surface and the sheets make for some good fake slick rock.

The firberclass resin is a great idea I think! I was looking at Axial's howto, but the total cost is way too much money using the bed liner material.
