Default where to find a pinion?

I am looking for a low number tooth pinion to mate up with my pede tranny. Just to make sure, the pede spur is 48pitch correct? Does anyone make a 48p pinion with less than 12 teeth or no? I know Tower has the Robinson racing pinion, just wondering if there are any 8 or 9 tooth 48ps.

the smallest one Robinson makes is 12t. if you need more reduction, use a GD600.

Not for a 1/8" shaft...it's impossible.

You can get a press-on 10 tooth pinion from Model Electronics Inc. . We use them in Electric airplane conversions using the Kyosho Endoplasma motors in the GD-600 gearboxes so it will swing a bigger prop. You simply clean the shaft and pinion bore then use some Loctite 604 or Permatex 64000 sleeve retaining compound inside the pinion to "lock" it on the motor shaft. You'll never break it loose while running as long as you let it set up for the recommended 12 to 24 hours. The pinion is only $5 plus they also have brass wide-faced 48 pitch pinions too, plus their great Superbox and Monsterbox gearboxes if you really want some gear reduction !

if you really want to gear it down use a 32pitch nitro spur instead they have a bigger diameter lending to lower ratios and are harder to strip
