So, I'm rebuilding my sw2 into a tuber. Right now I've been measuring and sketching on paper. I've designed it with 3" of ground clearance using regular 4" shock/spring setup. But know I've decided to go with a droop setup. Do I just leave everything the way it is and let the chassis sag lower? Or should I redesign it so that I maintain the 3" of ground clearance that I originally planned? How much ground clearance do droop setups usually have?

Your setup with springs would have around 3 inches of clearance at max extension (not taking the sag of its own weight). If you leave it as is, it will sit much lower and have lower clearance at "rest", but max extension would be the same. The Edge chassis for the AX-10 is a good example of this.

So all your really concerned with is the clearance at max extension. Not clearance at ride height. I was thinking that the lowest you would want it to sit would be at the centerline of the hubs. Which is about 2.5". Thanks for the response.
