Default Link help

I'm starting on my first build and I have a few questions. Lets study the pic.

Will the upper and lower links being parrallel give me a bad handling chassis? Should I make the links straight, or keep them bent?

all the links are going to do is hold the axle so it cannot rotate, since you have no driveshafts it shouldnt matter, if it doesnt work its not that big of a deal so give it a shot, cool design. the only thing i'd think about is will the links bend overtime, cause their not very thick.

I'm just using coathanger for mockup. I eventually will use 4mm all thread with brakeline sleeved over it.

As far as the chassis goes... I have no clue. I just bought it today and the guy at the LHS didn't even know. I have a pic of the package...

I paid 45 for the chassis. I thought it was a good deal. I'm now looking into shock mounts and I think the lower mount will be on the gear case to keep them tucked in close. I'm really starting to think my setup will make it wobbly and cause unpredictable handling but everyone I've talked to says it's fine. any thoughts?

The uppers and lowers in that pic are not parallel. Just because you put a bend in the lower and the upper half of that lower is parallel with the upper, means nothing. The lower link is still a straight point A to point B link...it just has a bend in it. The geometry of it is still the same as if you ran a straight link in place of the bent one.

you cant run them both parallel without using something to keep the axle from moving side to side ie-panhard bar, watts link..etc..the purpose of triangulating the uppers or lowers is to do keep the axle from moving side to side without the need of a separate locating bar
