Default Super tires and wheels, who is running what?

Gonna build a super and interested in seeing what you all are running and how you like the setup.

Id like to run the batteries in the wheels to keep the weight down. I have brand new giant tracks but the wheel size wont allow me to run the batteries in the wheels

I'm pretty sure you can with the right Knuckles.

A set of JP customs Knuckles, with CVDs in the axles should put you wide enough to put the batteries on the knuckles.

I personally run Moab XLs, narrowed stock foams, and narrowed ProLine Narrow Cheyenne Beadlocks. I could put sub-cs on the knuckles, but I prefer 3S Lipo power and it is light enough it mounts to the upper links.

You can stretch the giant tracs over some 40 series wheels. They work great that way too. I have done that and so has Heavy (SERCRC member). Heavy used them that way for a long time with great success

YOU GOT IT! You are not as near as dumb as appearance would let on. It might just have to have a backbone though, not sure yet

Hell any nOOb who reads the board could figure it out by reading your last few post.

Not rocket science.

While I don't think the WK axles (in stock form) will hold up, w/ enough upgraded parts they may.

I built a BM based Clod and only the heft of the axles prevented me from using it as a comp rig. Like I said, it should be interesting.

Now how about those bodies???????

LOL still messing with the former, got a guy coming over next week to help me hook up a new vacuum system. I know that the axles will hold up, my 2.2 ran with super sized tires on it and over 1 lb of weight in each tire. total weight about 6 lbs. the WK axles are not much smaller than the clod stuff, the weak point is the stub shafts and just so happens that clod aftermarket knuckles fit the wk axles and even the king pins fit both.

Hey Brian,
Azvader grafted a set of giant tracs to 40 beads. Here's the thread. Pretty sweet set up..

I myself are about to try Xls on throns, the larger rim gives them that low profile trac look and hopefully cuts down on some of the fold.. just waiting on the glue to dry.

Linda
(yeah, i saw that.... )
