| Hello everyone, I have been out for what seems like a few years, but it's really just about 10 months. Got a new job and thats been taking up a lot of time...along with the kids hockey, soccer, etc. I know no excuses. I want to build my 9 year old a rig in the next few weeks. I have some parts lying around along with some parts I want to upgrade off my rig. Here's what I got. S3 frame - brushed axiom motor on an R2 tranny - old Sooper Rooster - delrin links - wheel - tires - etc. S2 frame(already cut and modded to except the motor/tranny set-up) I am planning on giving him the S2 frame and my motor/tranny/ESC. What motor/tranny/ESC should I upgrade to? I hope to find some time to get to some Comps here in Colorado so the rigs will mostly be used for that. Last edited by JohnJohn; 04-06-2008 at 12:06 PM. |

| The axial trans is nice, and cheap too. Check out the teken FX-R, and get a handwound motor, holmes has some, also check out JP custom RC's for the 35t warrior. Mort's advice is also good. |
