Default new dig

here is a new dig setup that I made and I haven't found anything much like it here on the forums so I thought I'd post it
I won't try to explain it, I'll let the pictures do the talking

That's an interesting idea. So the female section spins inside the sheetmetal section and the screws brake against the splines of the male section at the pinion end, right? Does it work well? I see you're getting some use out of the TP servo. Also, how do you like it since you went droop?

right, there are two female sections, one fixed(with screws) and the other free to move with the driveshafts when engaged
tower pro works great for dig

I've tried that way before, and couldn't stop sheering the drive-shaft where you have to turn it down for the "free wheel" portion of the dig. Even having an 1/8" rod JB'd into that side of the assembly. I have since changed my design, and am causing others in our local club to even sell there R2D's, after having a chance to drive my new set-up. And I'm still using a 225mg and having no issues. It's all in the set-up and tuning.
