What do you use to cut and make such straight even cuts? Definately different looking, but I thought you didn't like the Hot Bodies tire compound?

I used a very nice pair of Fiskars scissors to cut them.

Bark,
They may be ruined....but they were way more fun in my hands with scissors than sitting under my work bench collecting dust. I'm anxious to see how they work.
The rubber compound is not very disirable but the tire, without the foams and now skinny, may work fairly well. We'll see.

You just love to cut up your tires... Well they look better, and maybe they will work better, too.

We all noticed Dirk. Now get them glued together so we can see the finished product.

Nice Tires... And Why do you guys make your tires skinner.. Don't thoose give it worse traction..

When you narrow a tire, it causes the contact pressure of the tire to go up. Contact pressure, tread pattern, and rubber compound are your 3 main ways of getting traction. Increasing contact pressure will cause the tire to bite a little harder, and should help give you a little more sidewall flex.
