My Nylint stock rims are breaking too. I am using crazy glue to fix them for now. I am insterested how are you making your own "lock rings" (Don't know what does that mean ). Also because I am green, if you can list some prices or a rough total cost of the upgrades, that will by handy for me. Thank you! | |

I still have the 1/6 red Scorpion I bought for my son. He drove it around at the 2006 Nationals and that was the last time it was used I think. He likes his Wheely King batter now.

I had 3 -sold one (a Scorpoin) to a friend of mine to use for a mini-cam setup he built-I still have 2, drive them from time to time still. Bought them for the daughters but they never liked them. they still are working and going. Use one of them to deliver beers on a trailer at party's & smoke bombs & lit sparklers & bottle rockets & etc....

Still have my 1/6, it's what originally got me into crawlers a few years ago, trying to find a battery for it to get it running for my daughter to use until I can get a creeper put together for her. They were ok for less than $50 on clearance at wally world. In fact they are the reason I found this site back in the day.

Still have mine and it still works..... its been comp cut and narrowed, has a set of PIAA lights that I changed over to LED, and a slant back top that I made. Low range is all thats left since it quit shifting under its own power. Mainly gets used as a loaner or pulls a trailer with various RC's on it.

Still have a completely stock 1:6 Scorpion. My daughter and the neighborhood kids use it occasionally. Everything still works. No problems.

I had two. Should've kept the 2nd one (barely used, not modified.) When I listed it on eBay, I was expecting it to at least sell for $150 without shipping.. Sadly, it sold for $57 +shipping.. Not that I paid more than $50 for it, but still, I got screwed compared to what they USED to sell for on eBay.. The one I kept still runs great, though as in my other thread, I have noted that I am trying to modify it more substantially to make my 1:6 Grand Cherokee body sit on it more realistically.. |

I have 2 of them The Jeep and Scorpion , I`m in the process of fitting the Jeep Body onto a 1/10 Summit , doesn`t look bad.

Never even knew there was a thread. Here's my beast. All stock. It's for sale on the forum, but I'm not getting any bites. Have been looking a while for a used set of clod axles for a build using the stock tires and rims. Might end up keeping it for the long haul. Always get a kick out of just how big it is compaired to my 2.2 trucks. |
