Bought 3 new ones couple years back, 1 for me & the other 2 were for the daughters- They never really got into it. Sold 1 to a friend who is still using it & still have the Jeep & the Scorpion. Broke a rim or 2 but they are still good. Cats friggin hate them! Dog aint crazy of them either. But chasing cats is more fun.

holy carp

2008 !?

I still have two complete Nylint/Funrise 6th scale crawlers
just sitting around collecting dust.
And they probably would still operate as they did originally.
Tho' I'm not sure if their original 12v batteries will hold a charge.

This was the once and only time I'd ever run them...
They did net my interest of building something better
as I really liked and wanted to utilize these 6th scale bodies

Was a fun day...
but these are nowhere close, in function, to my current 6th scale build
that utilizes the Nylint/Funrise TJ Jeep body.

dust collectors...

from ^ this pile...

...to this

NIce old thread, I loved the scale looks and hardbody of these back when they first came out. I played for hours with a buddy's 1/18th Jeep and loved it. I bought a red 1/16 Jeep and thought about building and running it...until I saw how much it was worth...sold it but still kinda regret not keeping it for a small fun crawler.

So how is the build holding up? do have enough power for it's size?
Do you want to do some trading for the extra jeep body?

my build is holding up fine...
but the body is getting gouged and scarred up a bit.

It's geared to be a crawler with some decent wheel speed.
So tho' more then enough torque... it's not set up for high speed.

I suppose if I slap a 6S on board,
and gear it appropriately...
It would be purdy dang peppy and scoot just fine.

Possibly one of these days I give that a try.

think I'll be keeping the additional TJ body as back up
for my 6th scale build/chassis.

However, I haven't made plans for the Scorpion, yet.
So I might be willing to make trade for that if there were an interest.

Since you already have two... it's not likely that you would.

It's time to make them into what should be. I hope I do mine proud.
